How would you define Alphabet Garden Design’s style philosophy?
Fresh, fun, hip and lively designs. We strive to design wall decals
that are conversation starters. Our wall decals create a hand painted
look, so when people walk in the room, it has an instant “ooh and ahh”
effect. We also create designs that we believe our customers are looking
for to compliment their existing decor and add that perfect personal
touch.
What inspired you to become a designer and start a business?
Two best friends + a shared dream + creativity bursting to find an outlet = Alphabet Garden Designs
We wanted to create a business that utilized our creativity without
compromising our priorities to motherhood. Could we really find
something that we could succeed at giving 100 percent to both? We
intentionally choose to create a design business that solely lived on
the computer screen instead of a storefront allowing us to work the
hours that fit best as full time mothers. Now, almost five years later
sticking to our original passion and goals, we strive to allow these
same philosophies for our employees, encouraging priorities of
motherhood to be met. Bringing Alphabet Garden Designs to life has been a
dream come true! (As cliché as that sounds!)
Why did you choose to design and make personalized wall decals?
We were introduced to the medium of vinyl lettering many years ago
when it hit the shelves, but we realized quickly that the available
options weren’t quite what we were looking for. We thought, what if we
could use this medium to create unique designs that we ourselves would
want to put on our own walls, instead of a quote that everyone else had
on theirs? We quickly discovered that our customers felt the same
way, thrilled that they could customize and personalize our designs by
picking the size, color, and all around “look” of the design specific
for them.
What is your favorite part of your daily work when you reflect on the day, what is most rewarding?
Favorite Part of Day: Getting the kids off to school, grabbing our
big bottle of Crystal Light and settling down to the computer to design.
It never gets old.
Most Rewarding: When we are somehow able to read our customers mind
and create a custom wall design that is exactly what the customer is
thinking of, they become so happy! Also it is very flattering to think
people all over the world have chosen to put our designs on their
children’s wall.
If you had to pick a favorite design from your collection, what would it be?
Camilla: I love “It's a jungle out there”
I especially enjoyed designing these animals after working primarily on
more simpler monogram designs. I started with the lion and had so much
fun designing him I had to just keep on going, and bring along his
friends!
Jenn: I love “Elephant Dots”
I designed this elephant for my son Logan who has a special elephant
stuffed animal that he has slept with since he was an infant. One day
“Ellie” was sitting propped up similar to the design so I decided to
draw one, I have fell in love with it since it came to life as a design.
What sets Alphabet Garden Designs apart from other wall decal designers?
Every design is custom cut and unique! With the ability to
personalize our designs and choose from 45 different colors that can be
used in many different combinations to coordinate with any decor.

Camilla: Lost and 24. I have not watched any new shows since the finales.
Jenn: Modern Family (nothing beats it)

Camilla: Anything with suspense!
Jenn: Mary Poppins and Home videos of my kiddo’s.
Favorite Weekend Activity
Camilla: Riding my horse Lucia, skiing and boating with my family.
Jenn: Going for “adventure walks” out in nature with my three kids, hubby and two goldens.
